Thrush Family

Robins, Bluebirds, and all thrushes.

The thrush family includes some familiar birds which are the Bluebird and American Robin. Robins are some of the first birds that return in the Spring calling out to Ina Maka that warmer weather is on the way. Our various Bluebird species return for warmer months as well raising their young from the grasslands to the mountains. A few brave souls in the Thrush family will stay near open water and over winter in small groups battling the cold with us.
